Introduction
Assistive Technology (AT) refers to equipment, modifications, or items that can improve daily living and independence. At Holistic Care Solutions, our Occupational Therapists (OTs) work closely with individuals to identify the right assistive technology to help achieve personal goals. We also provide support in preparing and submitting AT request forms, which outline the need to present suitable equipment options. Our aim is to ensure you have access to the tools and support that make life easier, safer, and more fulfilling.

Prescribing Assistive Technology

At Holistic Care Solutions, we support individuals in finding the right assistive technology to improve their independence and quality of life. For example, if a wheelchair is no longer suitable, our team will help identify and recommend a better option.

We also conduct functional and environmental assessments to determine what equipment may be needed for future care planning. Our focus is on mobility-related equipment such as wheelchairs and scooters, enabling people to move safely and participate more actively in their community.

In addition, we provide home modification assessments, ranging from simple installations like rails and ramps to complete home adaptations—ensuring safety, accessibility, and comfort at home.
